dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this thesis was to investigate the relationship between the personality of male alcoholics and their response to an in-patient treatment program. Twenty male alcoholic in-patients were tested on admission and at discharge from a 21 day structured treatment program using a combination of Forms A and B of the 16 PF and the Bell Alcoholism Scale of Adjustment (BASA). Three months after discharge a follow-up questionnaire was sent to the patients. | en_US |
